Facility Manager, Dallas


Victoria Bates

Bringing a wide range of scientific, administrative, and customer service knowledge to her role as Facility Manager, Victoria has worked extensively with cadaver management. At the University of Texas she served as an assistant anatomical embalmer in addition to performing outreach and education regarding scientific donations. Most recently, she oversaw administrative functions for the Anatomical Services laboratories at Parker University, including the Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience labs and the Anatomical Gift program, in addition to managing cadaver processing and tracking, compliance documentation, and governmental liaison. With an emphasis on safety and service, Victoria ensures that every client is delighted with their event services at National Bioskills Laboratories Dallas.

Bob Dickson, CPA

A seasoned chief financial officer in the medical device sector and other industries, Bob Dickson’s experiences as CFO include a key role in positioning and selling a cardiovascular device company to an international publicly-traded medical device company. Prior to that, Bob served as CFO of a titanium processing company that provided products to the medical device, aerospace, and other industries. Following a successful acquisition, Bob assumed the role of Vice President & Treasurer of the parent company where he oversaw treasury operations, coordinating strategic planning and investor relations and leading a $50 million public stock offering. Bob worked as a CPA for Price Waterhouse for ten years and is a licensed real estate professional in South Carolina.

A certified phlebotomist and a U.S. Navy Veteran, Jillian came to National Bioskills after five years serving her country as Boatswain’s Mate on a guided-missile destroyer. Managing a team of twenty sailors, she supervised maintenance and equipment repair work and directed boat crews in landing and rescue operations. She now applies her professional discipline and military precision to keeping the Pittsburgh bioskills laboratories ship shape, while leading a friendly, success-oriented team to anticipate and serve each client’s needs and ensure optimal event outcomes.

Arvin Amirriazi is an experienced specimen handler with expertise in research analysis, event management, and OSHA compliance for simulated operating rooms and bioskills training. Ensuring the highest level of safety standards for every event at National Bioskills Laboratories, he provides comprehensive customer service throughout the planning, implementation, and follow up stages. Arvin holds a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University as well as a current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Erin brings extensive background as a surgical technology expert to her role as Operations Manager at National Bioskills. A native of Colorado, Erin holds a degree in Surgical Technology and worked for more than 10 years as a surgical technician, a bioskills laboratory manager, and a lab services coordinator before assuming her current position at National Bioskills. Working closely with the Facility Managers, Erin uses her technological expertise to anticipate client needs and to ensure that every lab runs smoothly. Providing respectful, detail-focused customer service to clients and physicians is Erin’s hallmark and passion.

With a background in anatomical embalming and experience as a Lab Manager at Texas A&M and Facility Manager at National Bioskills, Bethany is well-versed in safety standards and event operations, and personally works with every client to orient them to our facilities and technology, ensuring the best outcomes for their events. She is passionate about delivering exceptional customer care, anticipating needs, and making customer success her top priority.

In addition to providing NBL’s signature wraparound event planning and customer services, Kenneth applies his background in specimen handling to ensure top-tier standards of safety and credentials for all clients, employees, and stakeholders.

Jamie comes to National Bioskills with more than 20 years in the customer service industry, including serving as Sales Manager for Hilton’s flagship brand hotels. Her extensive management experience, passionate attention to detail, and comfort working with people from all over the world make her uniquely qualified to ensure top-tier customer experiences for National Bioskills’ diverse international clientele. Jamie works proactively to identify customer trends and ensure that the company provides unparalleled, leading-edge training event environments and experiences that delight every customer. Always working to enable the best event outcomes, Jamie analyzes every detail of the event planning, execution, and follow-up process to deliver continuous improvement in the physician-focused training model that distinguishes National Bioskills Laboratories.

Yeshvant Navalgund, MD

Dr. Navalgund has extensive experience in advancing medical device education and technique. He is a Board-Certified physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and Assistant Professor, West Virginia University, Department of Anesthesiology, and Adjunct Professor, University of Pittsburgh, School of Anesthesia. He is the author of many publications and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Neuromodulation and is a Founding Member of the Pennsylvania Pain Society. He is also President & CEO of DNA Pain, and a Lecturer and Instructor for numerous national and international companies and societies. His hands-on knowledge of devices and experience as a peer-to-peer educator have helped to develop and customize the wraparound services offered by National Bioskills Laboratories.

Douglas A. Hampers, MD, MBA

Dr. Hampers is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He successfully created his own private practice, Reflex Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, in Greensburg, PA in 2009 and was named by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review’s readers as one the top three orthopedic surgeons by 2012. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as, his sports medicine fellowship under the tutelage of world-renowned surgeon Dr. Freddie Fu in 2004. He was the first person to be accepted into a combined MD/MBA program at Dartmouth College and completed it in 1998. Dr. Hampers was elected in 2012 to serve as a board member for Cardiac Assist (dba TandemLife), an international medical products company based in Pittsburgh, PA, which was acquired by LivaNova (LIVN) in March 2018 for $250 million.
